Utility Executive Exchange Program (UEEP) Reverse Visit in 2018 (Bahasa Indonesia)

Pertukaran Pengetahuan Mendorong Indonesia Mengembangkan Pasar Energi Terbarukan.

ICED II : Sumba Solar PV Investment

The electricity access in Sumba is very limited despite their huge potential in renewable energy. PT Buana Energi Surya Persada (BESP) saw the opportunity and developed a 1 MWp Solar PV Power plant. USAID ICED’s II recommendation convinced Banks to finance the solar PV project.

Utilities Partner Internationally to Support Renewable Energy Expansion

For utilities around the globe grappling with the unique challenges of bringing additional renewable energy into the electric grid, nothing beats learning from the firsthand experiences of those who have already made the transition.

USAID’s Energy Utility Partnership Program (EUPP) supports technical exchanges between utilities in the United States and counterparts in emerging markets.

Through the EUPP, Indonesian government officials, engineers and grid operators have learned firsthand the changes and innovations pioneered by Hawaii Electric Utility in its drive to achieve 100 percent renewable energy by 2045. For more information, visit here.
